Share Haywards Heath is entirely run by volunteers and relies on people donating their time and skills. If you are interested in helping out then we would love to hear from you.

We have three main volunteering opportunities:

• Running the library during our opening hours, which involves dealing with members of the public when they come to pick up and return items as well as any membership queries. Full training is provided and you will usually be paired with another volunteer for the first few shifts until you are comfortable with the role.

• Item maintenance, which includes helping us to source items, carry out repairs and ensure they are well maintained. This could be an opportunity to use your practical skills and the timing of when you help out can be flexible.
  
  
• Organising our marketing and social media.
